Introduction
In this course, the students are expected to acquire in-depth knowledge of pathophysiology and intensive and critical care treatment of serious failure of vital functions related to different medical and surgical conditions and relevant anaesthesiology and surgery topics, among other things. This knowledge forms the basis for their ability to administer, monitor and evaluate advanced medical treatment.

Summativ vurdering gjennomføres av representant fra praksisstedet og praksislærer fra universitetet. Endelig vedtak om Bestått-Ikke bestått fattes av universitetet.
Learning outcomes
10 studiepoeng overlappende med ANESTPRA1/ANESTPRA10 og MANESPRA1/MANESPRA10.
