  • Introduction

    Language of instruction: Norwegian

    The purpose of this course is to enable students to perform examination and professional assessments in accordance with the principles of psychomotor physiotherapy. The examination form the basis of the physiotherapist's understanding of the body as a functional, interacting whole. This entails assessing physical complaints and symptoms in light of muscle tensions and mobility in the whole body, as well as the patient’s history and present situation. The course provides a theoretical and practical basis for psychomotor physiotherapy. Practical training period 1 is started during this course.

    • kan gjøre rede for sentrale begreper i legemiddelhåndteringen
    • kan gjøre rede for legemiddelhåndteringsprosessen fra legemiddelet er ordinert til legemiddelet er gitt eller kassert
    • kan gjøre rede for generisk bytte og kan anvende legemiddelverkets bytteliste eller lokal bytteliste
    • kan beskrive relevante lover og forskrifter for helsepersonell som håndterer legemidler, inkludert avviksrapportering, dokumentasjon generelt og hvordan legemidler kasseres

    Ferdigheter

    Studenten

    • kan utføre selvstendige og feilfrie utregninger av legemidlers doser, mengder og styrker ved ulike administrasjonsmåter
    • kan vurdere og gjøre kontroll av egen og andres utregning
    • kan anvende oppslagsverk som Felleskatalogen og Legemiddelhåndboka

    Generell kompetanse

    Studenten

    • har kunnskap om og forståelse for sammenhengen mellom forsvarlig legemiddelhåndtering og pasientsikkerhet

    • can describe and discuss the principles of psychomotor physical examinations   
    • can interpret findings from the examination in light of  the patient’s history and relevant literature (clinical reasoning)
    • can discuss aspects of clinical reasoning
    • can assess relevant treatments
    • can discuss different understandings of the body   

    Skills

    The student

    • can perform a physical examination in accordance with the principles of psychomotor physiotherapy and make professional assessments of the patient’s problem
    • can investigate the significance of complaints and symptoms for each individual patient

    The student

    • can analyse and assess complex clinical problems and make clinical decisions about treatment
    • can communicate independent professional assessments of examination results and treatment processes based on the principles of psychomotor physiotherapy   
  • Teaching and learning methods

    Individuell skriftlig eksamen i legemiddelregning under tilsyn.

    • 3 timer.
    • For å bestå eksamen må studenten levere en feilfri besvarelse.

  • Permitted exam materials and equipment

    Alle besvarelser vurderes av en sensor.

    Eksternt fagfellemiljø fra flere institusjoner benyttes i utforming av oppgavesett og vurderingskriterier.

  • Grading scale

    • 2 studiepoeng overlapp med SYKK/SYKP1300 Farmakologi og legemiddelhåndtering, 5 stp.
    • SYKK1310, SYKP1310, SYKD1310 og SKOMP1100 er fullt overlappende.

  • Examiners

    All examinations are assessed by two examiners. A minimum of 20% of the examination papers will be assessed by an external examiner. The external examiner’s assessment should benefit all students.

  • Overlapping courses

    10 ECTS credits overlaps with PSYF6100 Psychomotor physiotherapy and different perspectives on health and illness,20 ECTS credits in the topic examinations (10 ECTS credits).
