Assessment
Individual or group[1] portfolio examination. The portfolio consists of:
- a written assignment describing the product concept
- design process documentation
- a reflection paper
The examination result can be appealed against.
[1]On a professional basis, students may apply to sit the examination group. Applications should be submitted lecturer/person with course responsibility at the start of the course.

A grading scale of A (highest) to F (lowest) where A to E is a pass grade and F is a fail grade.

Examiners
Faget er tilgjengelig som valgfag for aktive studenter ved grunnskolelærerutdanningen og lærerutdanning for tospråklige lærere på HiOA, i tråd med utdanningenes programplaner. Interne søkere som søker opptak til Musikk 2 mens de fortsatt er aktive på Musikk 1, kan få opptak uten å ha fullført Musikk 1.
Eksterne søkere må ha bestått lærerutdanning som kvalifiserer for arbeid i skolen. Opptak til Musikk 2 krever fullført Musikk 1 eller tilsvarende.
