Introduction
Det gis bokstavkarakterer med A som beste og E som dårligste karakter på bestått eksamen. Karakteren F brukes ved ikke bestått eksamen. Karakteren F kan ikke inngå i samlet karakter.
Det vil bli gitt separate karakter på henholdsvis skriftlig og muntlig. Disse karakterene slås sammen til én avsluttende karakter som fremkommer på karakterutskriften.
Vurderingskriterier
A: Fremragende prestasjon som klart utmerker seg. Kandidaten viser svært gode kunnskaper om jødedom og jødisk historie, svært god vurderingsevne og refleksjon og stor grad av selvstendighet.
B: Meget god prestasjon. Kandidaten viser meget gode kunnskaper om jødedom og jødisk historie og meget god vurderingsevne, refleksjon og selvstendighet.
C: Jevnt god prestasjon som er tilfredsstillende på de fleste områder. Kandidaten viser gode kunnskaper om jødedom og jødisk historie og på de fleste områder, normalt god vurderingsevne og refleksjon og en viss selvstendighet.
D: En akseptabel prestasjon, men med noen vesentlige mangler. Kandidaten viser kunnskaper om jødedom og jødisk historie på de flere områder, men også noen vesentlige kunnskapshull, en viss grad av vurderingsevne og refleksjon, men begrenset selvstendighet. Klart under gjennomsnittet.
E: Prestasjon som tilfredsstiller faglige minimumskrav. Kandidaten viser noe sentral kunnskap om jødedom og jødisk historie, men liten grad av vurderingsevne, refleksjon og selvstendighet.
F: Prestasjonen tilfredsstiller ikke faglige minimumskravene. Kandidaten viser manglende kunnskaper, vurderingsevne, refleksjon og selvstendighet.

- has advanced knowledge of professional and ethical challenges in the field of nurse anaesthesia
Skills
The student
- is capable of analysing and taking a critical approach to existing theories on how patients experience anaesthesia, surgical procedures and examinations
- is capable of analysing and taking a critical approach to theories on communicating with patients and their next of kin
- is capable of analysing and taking a critical approach to theories on anaesthesia and analgesia
- is capable of analysing and taking a critical approach to theories on wholly or partly compensatory care in the event of serious self-care deficits in relation to a patient's fundamental needs
Competence
The student
- is capable of analysing relevant academic, professional and research ethics issues in nurse anaesthesia based on discipline knowledge, research, experience and patient knowledge
- is capable, with some supervision, of communicating about issues, analyses and conclusions in nurse anaesthesia, both with specialists and with the general public
- is capable of contributing to new ideas and innovation processes in clinical practice

Målgruppe
Målgruppen for emnet er studenter på ettåring utdanningsprogram for jødiske veivisere, som administreres av Det Mosaiske Trossamfund.
Opptakskrav
Opptakskrav er generell studiekompetanse eller tilsvarende realkompetanse.
Course requirements
The following coursework requirements must be met before a student can receive an assessment for the course:
Assignment 1 - Regional anaesthesia. The conscious patient
- The students prepare their own research questions.
- Individual assignment.
- Scope: 3,000 words (+/- 20%).
- The syllabus selected by the students must be used in the assignment.
- The assignment must be written in accordance with the section Assessment of written work in the Assessment chapter of the programme description.
- The students receive written feedback from the lecturer.
Assignment 2 - General anaesthesia
- The students prepare their own research questions.
- Individual assignment.
- Scope: 3,000 words (+/- 20%).
- The syllabus selected by the students must be used in the assignment.
- The assignment must be written in accordance with the section Assessment of written work in chapter 10 Assessment in the programme description.
- The students receive written and oral feedback from their fellow students and oral feedback from the lecturer.

Assessment
A written in-depth assignment, written individually or in groups of up to three students. The assignment shall consist of a project outline for a piece of research or quality-related work based on a literature review, and it must be written in accordance with the section Assessment of written work in the Assessment chapter of the programme description.
Five weeks are set aside for work on this assignment.
Up to four hours of supervision is provided per assignment. Students who fail the assignment are offered two more hours of supervision.
Scope: 5,000 words (+/- 20%).
The title of the assignment will be included in the transcript of grades.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with.
Grading scale
Grade scale A-F. For group exams, all the students in the group are awarded the same grade. Students who are awarded a fail grade (F) are given one opportunity to submit a reworked version of the assignment.
Examiners
All answer papers are assessed by two examiners, one of whom must be external.
