Required preliminary courses
To sensorer vurderer alle studentene. 10 % av studentene, dog minimum 5, vurderes av ekstern og intern sensor, mens de øvrige vurderes av to interne sensorer. Ekstern sensors vurdering skal komme alle studentene til gode. Det innebærer at ekstern og intern sensor skal være ferdige med sin sensurering først og angi retningslinjer for de to interne sensorenes vurdering.
Learning outcomes
In order to be permitted to take the exam, the following compulsory coursework must have been completed and approved:
1. Practical-aesthetic project with written documentation
- The student must produce/develop an outfit that falls within the relevant trend.
- Written documentation on the practical-aesthetic work, of around 2,000 Words. 2. Philosophy of science and research design (group work)
- Group work relating to the teaching
- An oral and visual group presentation

Compulsory attendance at teaching activities: The student cannot be absent for more than 20% of the course.
Assessment
The exam is a practical-aesthetic project, to be carried out individually or in groups (2-3 students), with pertaining written assignment (approx. 2,000 words). The project and the paper are assessed as one. The paper must comply with the guidelines for written assignments and relevant syllabus must be used.
The exam result can be appealed.
Teaching and learning methods
All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied With.
Course requirements
The following required coursework must be approved before a student can take the final examination:
- a minimum of 90% attendance during practical training
- the student will prepare an individual plan for the practical training period based on the learning outcomes for the course
- written assignment individually or in groups of two to three students of up to 1,500 words
Assessment
Two internal examiners. The exam may be selected for grading by external examiners.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
Passed the course KDM1200 Subject Areas - Specialisation.
Grading scale
KDM2000 - Ide, prosess, produkt (Trend) 15 stp.
KDM2100 - Intensjon og produksjon, sport/active wear, 15 stp.
Examiners
During the second period of practical training, the student and practical training supervisor will carry out a midway and final assessment. A lecturer normally participates in the midway assessment and otherwise as necessary. If there is a risk of the student failing the course, they must be notified at least three weeks before the final practical training. The final decision on whether to award a pass or fail grade is made by the university. An external programme supervisor is affiliated to the course.
