Introduction
Language of instruction: Norwegian
The course builds on knowledge, skills and general competence acquired from the course MABU4100. The purpose of the course is to enable the students to apply and critically assess various knowledge as the basis for physiotherapy adapted to children and adolescents. The course provides a broad theoretical foundation as a basis for measures in which research-based, experience-based and user knowledge are integrated in the design of interventions. Family-centred services and interprofessional work in health-promoting and preventive work, treatment and habilitation are key topics in the course.

Knowledge
The student
- can describe different theories and knowledge that form the basis for designing physiotherapy adapted to children and adolescents
- can describe theoretical perspectives and research on which family-centred services are based
- can describe theoretical perspectives and research on which interprofessional work is based
Skills
The student
- can critically reflect on factors that can support children’s movement development, motor learning and participation in everyday activities
- can assess and integrate different forms of knowledge in the planning and execution of measures for children and adolescents
- can analyse and critically assess factors that promote or impede interprofessional cooperation
General competence
The student
- can analyse and critically reflect on the knowledge basis and practice of physiotherapy for children and adolescents
- can communicate up-to-date knowledge of the field to collaborative partners and the population at large
- can identify and assess ethical dilemmas related to physiotherapy for children and adolescents
Learning outcomes
Individuell skriftlig semesteroppgave. Omfang 3000 ord +/- 10%.
Ny/utsatt eksamen arrangeres som ordinær eksamen. Ved ikke bestått kan studenten til første ny og utsatt eksamen levere en omarbeidet versjon av semesteroppgaven. Ved senere forsøk leveres ny oppgave. Studenters rettigheter og plikter ved ny/utsatt eksamen framgår av Forskrift om studier og eksamen ved OsloMet. Studenter er selv ansvarlige for å melde seg opp.

MABU4100 Physiotherapy for Children and Adolescents - Part 1, 10 ECTS credits.

Eksamen vurderes etter gradert skala fra A til E for bestått og F for ikke bestått.
Assessment
Det benyttes to interne sensorer.
Grading scale
Emne 2 legger vekt på:

- Skapende og reflekterende virksomhet i musikk
- Digitale verktøy i musikkfaget
Examiners
Grade scale A-F.
Admission requirements
All answers are assessed by one examiner.
An external examiner is used regularly, at a minimum of every third completion of the course. When selecting answers for external evaluation, a minimum of 10 percent of the answers shall be included, with no fewer than 5 answers. The external examiner’s assessment of the selected answers shall benefit all students.
