KDK2010 Art, Dissemination and Experiments Course description

Arbeidsformene veksler mellom forelesninger, selvstudium og ulike former for gruppearbeid. Bacheloroppgaven er forankret i profesjonsfaget. Profesjonsfaget integreres i verkstedsperiodene. Arbeidsmåtene omfatter øvelse i ulike veilednings- og vurderingsformer.

Passed KDK1300 Introduction to Artistic Processes, KDK1400 Art and Dissemination in Digital Media, KDK1500 Experimentation and Contradiction, KDK1600 Introduction to Art Dissemination and KDK1700 Art or Design.

Det knyttes arbeidskrav for profesjonsfag til alle verkstedsperiodene. Alle arbeidskrav og obligatorisk tilstedeværelse må være innfridd og være vurdert til godkjent før studentene kan utføre bacheloroppgaven.

Obligatorisk tilstedeværelse i undervisningen

Det kreves minimum 80 prosent frammøte i undervisnings- og veiledningssituasjoner der det er obligatorisk krav om tilstedeværelse og aktiv deltakelse. Se undervisningsplanene for nærmere informasjon om obligatorisk undervisning.

Ny eksamen våren 2020:

En to-dagers individuell hjemmeeksamen etter praksisopplæringen (1500-1700 ord).

En to-dagers hjemmeeksamen i gruppe etter praksisopplæringen. Oppgaven skal være en skriftlig praksisoppgave med en individuell profesjonsfaglig komponent (ca.1500-1700 ord).

Projects in the subject

Project 1: Exploration and experimentation I. Individual work: The project provides a basic introduction to contemporary art from the beginning of the 20th century. The relationship between artistic work and theory is central to the project.

Project 2: Dissemination of contemporary art to specific target groups. Group work: The project aims at communicating contemporary art to specific target groups and is directly linked to the field of practice in art and dissemination.

Project 3: Exploration and Experimentation II. Group work: The project builds on Exploration and Experimentation I and provides a basic introduction to contemporary art from the mid-20th century. The relationship between artistic work and theory is central to the project.

Project 4: Communication text. Various forms of communication texts is worked with.

The course ends with an individual exam.
