Introduction
The course provides an introduction to various strategies in relation to presentation and art dissemination. Reflection, presentation and dissemination are central in this course.

Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes:
After completing the course, the student should have the following overall learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:
Knowledge
The student:
- has basic knowledge of art dissemination, art dissemination theory and exhibition design
- has basic knowledge of art theory and philosophical aesthetics
Skills
The student:
- can assess and discuss various artistic expressions as well as exhibition and dissemination design
- can design a portfolio that represents own artistic work
General competence
The student:
- can apply art dissemination theory and strategies orally, spatially, visually and in writing
Teaching and learning methods
Practical and theoretical work are closely linked in the course. A high degree of attendance and active participation in the teaching is required. Teaching methods are lectures, seminars, guidance, excursions and professional debates.
The purpose is to develop the student's knowledge, ideas, practical skills, academic understanding and ability to express oneself. The student is expected to acquire relevant literature beyond the syllabus, and is encouraged to use the learning centers at OsloMet and the resources offered there.
Course requirements
Compulsory attendance at teaching activities: The student cannot be absent for more than 20% of the course.
Assessment
The exam consists of the following two parts:
- An exam of 1200 words (+/-10%). Counts 60% of final grade
- A portfolio that contains images and texts that disseminates own artistic work. Counts 40% of final grade
The exam result can be appealed.
Absence - Failed
Students who, due to a valid absence, do not take one or both of the partial exams, or who receive a grade of Fail can register for a new/postponed exam.
When preparing for a new/postponed exam, either a revised version of the same exam project can be submitted again, or a new exam answer can be submitted.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
All aids are permitted as long as rules for citing sources are followed.
