BYFE3100 The Building Prosess Course description

The Building Process course prepares students for a profession, and they are expected to have already acquired a number of building qualifications during the course of their studies. The Building Process course trains students to work as part of a systematic whole and it enables them to make better use of a life-cycle approach, where technical and functional performance as well as financial, social and environmental issues are taken into consideration.

Presence on the course days is important for the result of the exam.

No requirements over and above the admission requirements.

After completing the course, the student is expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:

Knowledge

The student has:

• an understanding of cooperation when using BIM
• an understanding of life-cycle analyses, costs, time consumption, quality assurance systems, HSE in the building and construction industry, environmental certification systems and use of the Management, Maintenance, Operation and Development system
• knowledge of the phases in a building project and the different parties’ roles and responsibility, with the main emphasis on integrated planning using BIM
• knowledge of different contract models and the different contracts used in the building and construction industry
• knowledge of the statutory requirements that apply to the building, especially TEK.

Skills

The student is capable of:

• preparing plans for progress, finances, production, HSE and quality assurance
• drafting and using contracts and descriptions in accordance with applicable standards/process codes
• using TEK in different circumstances
• carrying out a simple risk analysis

General competence

The student:

• has an understanding of the interaction between the different players involved in the building process
• has an understanding of consequences
• has the ability to communicate the construction engineer’s roles in a systemic context
• is capable of working in a team

Emnet belyser og problematiserer sentrale begreper i helsepedagogikk og sammenhengen mellom begrepene. Helsepedagogiske metoder og digitale løsninger for helseutfordringer belyses. Gjennom egentrening og refleksjon oppnår studenten kompetanse til å planlegge, gjennomføre og evaluere helsepedagogiske tilbud til personer med helseutfordringer og deres pårørende, og å trekke brukerkunnskap inn i pasient/bruker- og pårørendeopplæring.Tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid og organisering av helsepedagogiske tiltak, samt betydningen av å være endringsagent på ulike arenaer når det gjelder helsefremming vektlegges.

Kunnskap

Studenten:

• kan kritisk vurdere begreper og metoder innenfor helsepedagogikk

Ferdigheter

Studenten:

• studenten kan planlegge, gjennomføre, kritisk vurdere og dokumentere et helsepedagogisk opplegg til pasient(er)/bruker eller pårørende
• kan i en øvingssituasjon eller på eget arbeidssted anvende kunnskaper og ferdigheter innen helsepedagogikk i et tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid og i samhandling med pasient/bruker og pårørende
• kan drøfte planlegging og gjennomføring av ulike helsepedagogiske metoder, eventuelt i samhandling med pasient/bruker og pårørende

Generell kompetanse

Studenten:

• kan kritisk analysere og trekke inn brukerkunnskap i pasient- og pårørendeopplæring individuelt og i gruppe

Emnet vil benytte varierte, studentaktive arbeidsformer. Arbeids- og undervisningsformene omfatter forelesninger, praktiske øvelser i helsepedagogiske metoder individuelt og i gruppe, gruppearbeid og selvstudier.

Individuell hjemmeeksamen over 2 uker, ut fra valgt emnes fokus og innhold. Studenten velger problemstilling. Omfang: 2500 ord (+/- 10 %).

Alle hjelpemidler er tillatt så lenge regler for kildehenvisning følges.
