Course history

Introduction

This course deals with a variety of tasks related to the process of web development. It both expands on earlier courses that have covered user analysis, web technologies and the organization of data and digital documents and introduces new topics. Among these are information architecture, practical skills in publishing tools, user testing and project management including the development of requirement specifications, prototypes and user testing.

The teaching language is in English.

Knowledge

  • has an understanding of the key characteristics of different types of web based services and solutions
  • has knowledge of the core issues in the development of different types of web based services and solutions
  • has knowledge about current trends, practices and tools

  • is able to plan a web development project
  • is able to use tools and standards to develop web based services and solutions
  • is able to procure web based services and solutions

General competences

The student

  • has a general understanding of issues relevant for the web development process

Teaching and learning methods

The course consists of a combination of lectures, group work, labs and homework.

Assessment

Language of instruction: Norwegian

The purpose of this course is to further develop the students’ practical competence in psychomotor physiotherapy, both individually and in groups. The course provides a theoretical and practical basis for the significance of relations and communication in clinical practice. Practical training period 2 is started during this course.

Permitted exam materials and equipment

All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with

  • can analyse and discuss professional issues related to communication and relationship in therapeutic interaction
  • can assess the use of group-based approaches and when such treatment can be appropriate

  • can apply psychomotor physiotherapy principles in group treatment
  • can assess and evaluate treatment processes and their own role as therapist
  • can analyse therapeutic interaction in treatment settings
  • can assess their own role in interdisciplinary cooperation

General competence

The student

  • can analyse and reflect on communication and interaction in clinical practice, individually and in groups
  • can analyse and critically discuss relevant problems related to relations and communication in clinical practice
  • can lead group treatment based on psychomotor physiotherapy
