Introduction
Emnet er en innføring i samfunnsøkonomiske temaer. I mikroøkonomi studeres produsenter, konsumenter og markedets virkemåte under ulike forutsetninger. Effektiv ressursbruk og økonomisk politikk vil også være sentralt.
I makroøkonomi studeres hele økonomien under ett. Kurset vil gi innsikt i hvilke faktorer som påvirker et lands økonomiske forhold, og hvordan myndighetene kan påvirke landets økonomiske situasjon.

Kunnskaper
Studenten har:
- kunnskap om ulike problemstillinger i samfunnsøkonomi
- kunnskap om hvordan menneskelige behov og knapphet på ressurser utgjør hovedelementene i samfunnsøkonomifaget
- kunnskap om produsentenes og konsumentenes tilpasning på et varemarked
- kunnskap om markedets virkemåte og ulike markedsformer
- kunnskap om makroøkonomiske hoved variabler som konjunkturer og inflasjon
- kunnskap om makroøkonomisk politikk
- kunnskap om måling av langsiktig økonomisk vekst og mulige årsaker til økonomisk vekst
Ferdigheter
Studentene kan:
- gjøre rede for samfunnsøkonomiske problemstillinger og ulike modeller for å analysere samfunnsøkonomiske spørsmål
- analysere ulike aktørers tilpasning på et marked og gjøre rede for markedsmekanismer
- gjøre rede for svingninger i et lands aggregerte størrelser og makroøkonomisk politikk
Teaching and learning methods
Kurset undervises i plenumsforelesninger. Det vil bli lagt til rette for oppgaveløsning og diskusjoner.
Course requirements
This master's degree course offers theoretical depth in literature mediation in three sessions that together focus on the what, how and why of dissemination. Central questions are:
What is the social basis for mediation in different institutional contexts, what are the core values of mediating literature and culture, and how does the mediation take place?
The language of the course is Norwegian.

Permitted exam materials and equipment
After completing the course, the student should have the following overall learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:
Knowledge
The student
- developed his repertoir knowledge
- has insight into mediation theory and method
- has insight into the public library's democratic mandate and the aesthetic, ethical and political challenges related to what is mediated, how, why, and to whom
- has advanced knowledge of the potential og literry mediationn and it's institutional preconditions
Skills
The student is capable of
- reading literature critically with a differing look for its differnet qualities and values
- analysing and critically evaluating different mediation practices
- discussing and reflecting on what mediation is and how literature can be applied in different context with varying intentions
General competence
The student
- has increased his practical judgment
- has increased his critical awarenesst
- has embettered his capacity to articulate his own experiences
Grading scale
The teaching methods are seminars, lectures and student presentations The students will work individually on three assignments of their choice within the topics of the course.
Examiners
The following coursework requirements must have been approved in order for the student to take the exam:
- In the last session, the students will present and discuss drafts for assignments
- All students will be given the task of acting as opponents for one of the other students' drafts.
All required coursework must be completed and approved by the given deadline in order for the student to take the exam.
