The library P48 will open in week 14

The renovation project is slightly delayed, but in the first week of April, we will finally open the doors to the newly refurbished library at Pilestredet 48.

The library at P48 has been closed all autumn due to renovation, but now it's nearing completion. The first week of April, they will finally reopen their doors. Students can then use new reading spaces, group rooms, and borrow and return books as before.

Due to delays in material delivery, carpentry work will still be ongoing in parts of the library, and some reading spaces will therefore not be available in the opening week.

The libraries at P35 and P32 will also receive a fresh coat of paint and new furniture. Work is underway, but the libraries are still open as usual.

Student wishes and needs are central to the renovation project. The libraries will have various types of seating, upgraded reading spaces with comfortable chairs and tables, good sound and lighting conditions, quiet zones, easier navigation, and, notably, more reading spaces.

You can find an overview of alternative reading spaces on the library's website (oslomet.no).

AV equipment, IT, and the Learning Support Centre available

The Learning Support Centre is still open as usual but can now be found in PP35, room U1037 (entrance to PP35 also via the glass bridge in P32, 3rd floor).

AV equipment and the IT servicedesk are located in room P372 on the 3rd floor of P48. AV equipment and IT support are available as usual this semester.
