About the study place
KyU is Uganda's second largest university and is located about 8 kilometers outside of Uganda's capital Kampala. There are good public transport links between the campus and Kampala city. The average temperature in Kampala is 25 degrees all year round and the campus is located in lush surroundings. Uganda offers many great attractions and nature experiences. The country is safe as long as you follow the precautions. The university has several affiliated institutions. KyU is divided into six faculties and two schools. KyU is the country's center for vocational education such as teacher education and pedagogy as well as engineering education and technology.
