About the study place

Hochschule der Medien is a state university of media studies in Stuttgart. The school is organized into three faculties: Faculty of Printing and Media, Electronic Media and Information and Communication. There are over 30 different degree programmes covering a variety of subjects within media. Everything from printed media to electronic media, design, marketing, library sciences, information sciences and publishing.

Stuttgart is the capital and largest city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and has a population of around 600,000 people. The city probably stands out from other German cities as it is spread across several hills, valleys and parks. In some of the hills surrounding the city you can even find vineyards. Stuttgart is known as a center of high-tech industry, especially its automotive industry. Porsche, Bosch and Mercedes-Benz all have their headquarters in the city. You will find a lively cultural life in the city as it is home to one of the country’s most prestigious symphonic orchestras as well as several well-known theaters.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
