Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau is a university of applied sciences with its main campus in the city of Zwickau. It also has campuses located in Markneukirchen, Reichenbach and Schneeberg. The school specializes in four core areas of study: technology, economics, arts and life sciences.
Zwickau, with its 90,000 inhabitants, is the fourth largest city in the state of Saxony, located in eastern Germany. The city has historically been one of the centres of the country’s automotive industry and is the hometown of Horch, Audi and Trabant. The original Audi plant in the city is now home to a museum. The area has a lot to offer to nature lovers. Both the Ore Mountains and the Mulde River Valley region which has many great hiking trails.
At the Zwickau University of Applies Sciences there is a focus on the interaction between people and technology. This is achieved through close dialogues between different disciplines of study. The school also has a focus on helping students achieve their full potential by having a good student to teacher ratio.
