Fachhochschule Ansbach is the youngest university of applied sciences in the German state of Bavaria. The school is divided into three faculties: Economics, Technologies and Media.
Ansbach is a smaller city with around 40,000 inhabitants. The city is located around 40 km southwest of Nuremberg, and around 140 km north of Munich. The city is also situated along the Treuchtlingen–Würzburg railway which operates in the northwestern part of Bavaria. Ansbach is probably most known for its castle, which is known as Margrafen-Schloss. It was built between 1704 and 1738 and retains its baroque character even today. This is a city with a rich history, which has resulted in many historical sights and monuments to visit. There is plenty to do to keep busy with various shopping opportunities, clubs, bars and cafes.
The courses offered at this school in economics, technology, media and natural sciences are highly sought after by both students and in the professional world.
