About the study place

Istanbul Bilgi Universitesi was established in 1996 and has three campuses in the city of Istanbul. The university believes that learning is not just for school, but for life. They are therefore interested in lifelong learning and students come from all over the world to study in the fields of architecture, business, communication, engineering and natural sciences, health sciences, law and social sciences and humanities at this university.

Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and was formerly the country's capital. The city is known for being Turkey's center of industry, trade, finance, and cultural life and is today a beautiful Metropolitan. The city has a long and interesting history, beautiful beaches, museums, palaces, shops, and monuments. Visit the famous church Aya Sofya, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque or the famous square At Meydanı which was a place for sporting and social activities around 203 AD. If you have time one day you should visit Misir Çarsisi, which is a bazaar where you can buy lots of exciting food. Istanbul arranges several concerts, festivals, and other cultural events often, and you will constantly discover new places that will surprise you. Enjoy your study time in beautiful Istanbul.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
