About the study place

Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften is a university college located in the Swiss city of Winterthur in the canton of Zurich, with further locations in Zurich and Wädenswil. The college is organized into eight schools that cover architecture, design and civil engineering, health sciences, linguistics, life sciences and facility management, applied psychology, social work, engineering, management and law. 

Winterthur is located about 20 kilometers northeast of Zurich and is a high-tech industrial satellite city in the Zurich metropolitan area. The city also has many cultural offerings and is home to 17 museums, most of them in the giant pedestrian street in the city center. Shops, restaurants, markets and festivals give life to the charming old town. Winterthur is a town that is small enough to get around easily, but at the same time has a big city atmosphere. This has made it a popular destination. 

ZHAW is one of the leading colleges in Switzerland. The school offers studies that are practice-oriented and scientifically based. At ZHAW you will benefit from a diverse and unique range of topics, with an excellent infrastructure and a wide range of services and activities.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
