Hatfield is a small town of about 30,000 inhabitants in the home county of Hertfordshire in the south east of England. The country’s capital and largest city London is about an hour’s drive away and only 25 minutes by train. Watford, with over 90,000 inhabitants is the largest city in the county, is a half an hour’s drive away. Here you can visit the Leavesden Film Studios where Harry Potter and other movies were filmed. Hertfordshire is known for its beautiful green landscapes and historical sites including Hatfield House, a magnificent palace dating back to the 1600s and for a short time, the home to Queen Elisabeth I. The area offers many great opportunities for hiking for those interested in the outdoors.

This is a school with a clear international profile. Of the 32 000 students attending, 140 different countries are represented. The university wants to drive their students forward and set them on a path to achieving their goals.
