Liverpool John Moores University is a public university based in Liverpool, England. The university is organized into five faculties, including Faculty of Business and Law, Arts, Professional and Social Studies, Health, Science and Engineering and Technology. 

Liverpool is located in the county of Merseyside in the northeastern part of England. The city has around 500,000 inhabitants and is situated a half an hour’s drive away from the largest city in northern England, Manchester. Liverpool is known for its architecture and transport links, but is probably most known for its Premiere League football teams and connections to art and culture. This is the hometown of The Beatles, one of the world’s most popular and influential bands. The city has also produced countless actors, artists, comics, authors and poets. Considering that only London has more art galleries, museums and listed buildings and parks in the UK, this is a given.  

Liverpool John Moores University has can trace its roots back to 1823 and is now one of the UK’s largest and well-established universities. The research done at this university influences policy-makers, improves people’s lives and fins solutions to 21st century problems. This is a school that is constantly looking forward to be able to develop further.
