Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca was founded at the beginning of the 20th century and is a modern university that offers several educations in different fields, such as engineering, architecture, science, and art. The school wants to develop high-quality education and research and has also received a prestigious award for being a university with advanced research and education.

The university has several faculties in the city of Cluj-Napoca, which is the second largest city in Romania, after the capital Bucharest. Cluj-Napoca has several famous landmarks, buildings, and monuments and the most important one is the Church of Saint Michael which is located by the Unirii square. This is a unique church built in Gothic style. There are also many theaters and museums in the city and it is easy to get around the town with the bus or tram. Every year, several festivals and other exciting cultural events are held in the city. Take a relaxing stroll to the Alexandru Borza Botanical Gardens or visit the Lucian Blaga National Theater and Opera. In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
