Akademia Sztuk Pieknych im. Jana Matejki is located in the city of Krakow. This is Poland's oldest artistic university with roots dating back to 1818. Today, the university offers educations in several artistic fields such as painting and graphic arts. At this university you will get the opportunity to learn about different cultures, mentalities and creativity from artists from other countries.
Krakow is Poland's former capital and is considered one of Europe's most beautiful cities and the city is also on the world heritage list. Krakow is an old town and is known for being a leading center for science, art and culture. Here you can hop on a bus or tram and visit Rynek Główny which is a large square or Stare Miasto which is Krakow's old town. In the square you will also get the chance to experience the marketplace Sukiennice, which is from the 16th century. Krakow has many hidden gems and several beautiful places waiting to be discovered. Visit the salt mine or the beautiful Wawel Castle and enjoy your study time in beautiful Krakow.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
