Cracow University of Economics is located in Kraków in southern Poland, with its campus within walking distance of the city’s historic centre.

Kraków is one of Poland’s oldest and most culturally significant cities and is considered an important student city, hosting several large universities. The city is known for its well‑preserved Old Town, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a rich cultural scene, and a wide range of cafés, concerts and student activities. Kraków has good rail connections to other Polish cities and neighbouring countries, and is also close to the Tatra Mountains, offering opportunities for hiking and winter sports. The climate is continental, with cold winters and warm summers. 

Cracow University of Economics is one of the largest universities specialising in economics and business in Poland, with long academic traditions. The university offers programmes in economics, business administration, finance, international trade, sustainability, political economy and computer science with economic applications. The institution places strong emphasis on internationalisation, practical knowledge, and cooperation with business and the public sector. For OsloMet students, the university may be particularly attractive within economic and social science disciplines, and offers the opportunity to study in a Central European context with lower living costs than in many Western European cities.
