About the study place

Hogeschool KPZ is an independent university of applied sciences in Zwolle that specializes in pedagogical educations. This is a small school with around 900 students at the undergraduate level. KPZ is originally a Catholic institution, but now has an open identity. This means everyone is welcome here. 

Zwolle is a city in the northeastern part of the Netherlands and is the capital of the province of Overijssel. The municipality has around 130,000 inhabitants in total. Zwolle is located about 103 km east of Amsterdam, which is accessible by train. For those interested in good food, Zwolle is known throughout the Netherlands as a culinary city. Here you will find, among other great restaurants, De Librije, which has been awarded three Michelin stars. In the heart of the city there is a beautiful medieval center, with many well-preserved and archeologically interesting buildings. 

Although KPZ is a small institution, as a student here you will receive excellent guidance and a fantastic preparation for professional life. Here you will find an inspiring learning environment and good facilities. At KPZ the priority is for the students to feel challenged, supported and facilitated in their development.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
