About the study place

Université Caen Normandie was founded in 1432 and has several campuses in the city of Caen and in other regions around. The university offers innovative educations in art, literature and language, law, economics and management, humanities, science, technology and health.

The French city of Caen is a beautiful city with a long history located approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away from the capital Paris. The city has been through a number of wars and you will find many monuments and other historical places that commemorate the city's history, as well as museums, churches and abbeys. You will find several wonderful and historical buildings such as Caen Castle and the Abbaye aux Hommes. In Caen they also have a beautiful park called Colline aux Oiseaux which has a fantastic viewpoint over Caen and its surroundings. If the weather is nice, you should visit the Riva Bella beach where you can play mini-golf and volleyball or rent bikes and enjoy the sun. Getting around the city is easy by bus, tram or train. This is a beautiful French city that offers everything from fantastic food, to shopping and unique history.
