About the study place
Toulouse is an enchanting city and has been given the nickname "La Ville Rose", which means the pink city. This is a colorful city with soft pink facades and the town has a rich culture with several museums, classical and medieval art. Toulouse is a city where you will feel welcome. It is the fourth largest city in France and a large part of the population are students. The famous building Le Capitole is located in the city center and houses both the town hall and a theater. You will also discover that the city has one of the largest Romanesque buildings in the Western world, The basilica of Saint-Sernin. Relax in one of the parks or take a walk down the canals in the city and relax. Last but not least, Toulouse is the space capital of Europe and you should therefore visit the Cité de l’Espace which is near campus. Another important museum is the museum presenting French aviation history, located near the airport where it all started and next to Airbus' factories. Hop on a bike or take public transport and explore this beautiful city.
