About the study place

Umeå universitet is located in the Swedish city of Umeå. The school was founded in 1965 and is a leading university that covers education and research in medicine, science, technology, social sciences, humanities and educational science. Umeå is a vibrant place and Northern Sweden's largest city. The university is located in the city center with short distance to shops, parks, museums and restaurants. There is a lot to do here regardless of the season. You can take a trip to the sculpture park, visit the escape room, go to the famous science center Curiosum or enjoy a day downhill skiing on the slopes.
