About the study place

Linköpings universitet is a large university with a long history and it achieved university status in 1977. The university consist of four campuses and the largest one is located in the city of Linkoping. The campus is placed right outside the city center and the location is easy to find. They offer many courses and study programmes, and the school has a good overview on their website.

Linköping is a city that is big enough and has everything you need. At the same time the city is small, so you have everything in the immediate vicinity. This is the fifth largest city in Sweden and it is located only two hours away from the capital Stockholm. The city has a long history and is one of the oldest cities in Sweden. Sweden is known for its many castles and in Linköping you will find many of them. Visit Gamla Linköping museum which is an open museum that takes you several years back in time. Enjoy great walks in the wonderful nature, visit one of the many bathing areas or take a round of mini golf with good friends, the possibilities are many in this beautiful city.

The university conducts world-leading research in collaboration with business and society. As a student here, you will gain new knowledge and skills that are sought after both now and in the future. Together with the university, you will create, disseminate and use knowledge to answer complex problems.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution. 

 

Housing

This institution offers limited student accommodation for exchange students, but cannot guarantee accommodation (liu.se/en).
