About the study place
Konstfack is an art academy located in the Swedish capital Stockholm. This is Sweden's largest university for arts, crafts and design and it was founded in 1844. As an exchange student here, you will get a creative, academic and solid foundation which you can dive deeper into and develop in the future. The school offers study programmes that will give you an opportunity to participate in the contemporary debate where attitudes, environments, products and services are developing constantly.
Stockholm is Sweden's capital, and it is a big city with a lot to offer. You can take a walk in the Old Town, eat at fantastic restaurants or enjoy the good shopping opportunities. The city has great nature areas, exciting museums and you should definitely visit the renaissance castle Gripsholm. From the Old town, Drottninggatan stretches through the entire city center and along this street, you will also find the Royal Palace and the Nobel Museum. You will never get bored in this big city and it is easy to get around the town with a bike. The public transport opportunities are many and you can use the bus, tram or the metro.
At Konstfack, they have Europe's best and most well-equipped workshops, and they have a unique research environment. Here you will learn to have a critical mindset and an empathetic attitude. This is a school for those with dreams and for those who want to make a difference. In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
