Högskolan i Borås is located in the center of the Swedish town of Borås. It only takes an hour by train to get to the second largest city in Sweden, Gothenburg. The university was founded in 1977 and Borås was announced as Sweden's student town in 2020/2021. This shows that this university is a popular choice for many students.

Borås is located along the river Viskan and is a small town with many opportunities. You have everything you need nearby, and it is easy to cycle or walk everywhere. In the city you will find world-class art and you have the nature right at your doorstep. The city is famous for its art and fashion and is a growing town. New shops, cafés and restaurants are popping up on every corner of this popular tpwm. Take a walk in the city's oasis, Stadsparken, go shopping in the town center, or discover a new exciting dish at one of the trendy restaurants. There are lots of concerts here during the summer months and if you love swimming, you will find several indoor and outdoor pools.
