Göteborgs universitet has roots dating back to 1891 and is located in the beautiful Swedish city of Gothenburg. This is a large university with world-class breadth and diversity. The university consists of several campuses located centrally around the city.

Gothenburg is the city in Sweden with the most students. The city has a lot to offer and has its own cafes, meeting points and other facilities for students. Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden, and everything is in its immediate vicinity. Within this city you will find the sea, several beaches, beautiful nature and the famous archipelago. There is a lot to experience in the city and you should definitely take a trip to Haga, which is Gothenburg's oldest district dating back to the 17th century. In the middle of the city, you will also find the Universeum which is an experience center with rainforest, aquariums and exciting experiments. Right next to the Universeum is the famous amusement park Liseberg. This is just a short list of everything you can do in this great student city.
