About the study place

Yrkeshögskolan Novia is a modern university of applied science located along the Finnish-Swedish coast. This is a multidisciplinary higher education institution with a practical orientation. They have five campuses in the Finnish cities of Vaasa, Turku, Raseborg and Jakobstad. They offer educations within natural resource, business, health, arts and humanities, technology and seafaring. They are concerned with the development of the society and work closely with the business community.

Vasa is a town with a perfect mix of fantastic nature and urban city life. The city has a bustling center, offers many opportunities when it comes to different experiences and events and last but not least you will find the Kvarken archipelago here, which is part of the World Heritage. It is easy to get around the city and you will find fantastic hiking trails, beautiful parks and green areas where you can enjoy a picnic. If you need a day off, you can enjoy a relaxing day at the swimming hall or the floating sauna. The city is full of cafes and hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. This is truly a great city to study in.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
