About the study place

Laurea-ammattikorkeakouou is a university with six different campuses in the Uusimaa region of Finland. The core of their business is interaction and meetings between people, and at this school learning and practical work goes hand in hand. You will have the opportunity to take part in exciting projects, and to build a network with potential employers while you study. They offer education and courses within Business Management, Social Services and Health Care and Hospitality Management.

In the young city of Vantaa, you will find the university's largest campus. Vantaa is located in the oldest district in the metropolitan area and it is therefore only half an hour by train to the capital, Helsinki. You will find several beautiful mansions and lots of exciting history in this city, and they have Northern Europe's second largest shopping center here. There is plenty to do in this beautiful city and you can take a deep dive into interesting history, try out traditional Finnish food, go for a walk in the beautiful nature areas or try out the Finnish sauna.

At this university you will experience a good learning environment with high quality both in lectures and research. You will learn to work in a practical way with creative problem solving. This will prepare you to solve complex societal problems in the future.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
