About the study place

Københavns Professionshøjskole is a large school with nine campuses located within and around Denmark's capital, Copenhagen. The school is relatively new and was established at the beginning of 2018 after a merger of several university colleges. The academic environment is divided into three faculties and these are: the Faculty of Teaching, the Faculty of Social education, Social work and Administration, and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Most campuses are located around the city center in Copenhagen, however three campuses are located one hour away with train.

Denmark has been ranked as one of the happiest countries in the world and the Danish lifestyle is completely unique. You will notice this especially in the capital Copenhagen. This is a city with modern architecture, and it is also known as a sustainable city. When you want environmental change, it is easy to get around by bike or by public transport. As a student in Copenhagen, it is almost mandatory to go to the Tivoli Gardens amusement park where you can take carousels, listen to music or eat a good meal.

Copenhagen University College is concerned with being professional and international as well as forming an academic network. This is used to improve the quality of their studies and research. They do not aim to offer good teaching, but excellent teaching.
