About the study place

Professionshøjskolen University College Nordjylland was established in 2007 after a merger of several university colleges and is a university college with campuses in the Danish cities of Aalborg, Hjørring and Thisted. The university college has research, development and innovation activities within business, social education, technology and healthcare. Out of the three cities, Aalborg is the biggest with many campuses, and that also offers a great variety of study programmes.

Aalborg is the fourth largest city in Denmark and over 25.000 students live here. This city is a popular choice for students, as it has a lot to offer. Here you will find shopping streets, restaurants, bars and a beautiful waterfront. This city has a really cozy atmosphere. Aalborg has a vibrating city life with carnivals, music festivals, and since this is a popular student town, there is a lot of social activities going on around the city.

The university has its own ambassadors who arrange gatherings for students. This includes team building, sports activities, movie nights and picnics, so you will have a lot to choose from. The university wants their study programmes to reflect the reality you will meet when you graduate. What really makes the university stand out is that they value you as a student and ensures that you get the best education.
