About the study place

The university of Southern Denmark is a university with six campuses located in the southern part of Denmark. The university are represented in six cities: Esbjerg, Kolding, Copenhagen, Slagelse, Sønderborg and Odense. The main campus is located in Odense while for instance the study programme for librarians is situated in Kolding. There are many fields of study to choose from, and you will find a good overview on their website.

Odense is a cultural and historical city and is known as the birthplace of the famous author H.C. Andersen. The city has been inspired by his imagination and you can visit the house he grew up in, which became a museum in 1930. Odense is also known for its many events and festivals. So, if you like theatre and a rich culture life, this is the city for you. Odense has a cozy atmosphere with green oases and local restaurants. You will definitely not be bored in Odense.

The University of Southern Denmark are devoted to ensuring a high academic standard and a strong environment where the opportunities for social and academic experiences are many. The university has its own swimming pool, fitness center and "Friday bar" which is a social event for students and a unique opportunity to get to know fellow students. As a student here, you will have the opportunity to gain an interdisciplinary competence that equips you to handle complex societal problems.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
