About the study place
The University of Copenhagen is a world-class research university and was founded in 1479. This is the oldest university in Denmark and is located in the center of Copenhagen, which is the capital of Denmark. This university has four campuses and offers many study programmes in different fields. You can study everything from law to theology, so you will definitely find something of interest at this university.
When you need a break from your studies, Copenhagen has a lot to offer. With excellent public transport, it is easy to get around and experience the beautiful beaches, explore Danish fashion or discover the hidden gems in the city. Copenhagen is known for its small narrow streets and alleys where you can find both cafes and restaurants. The university have four campuses and they are all centrally located with unique opportunities right outside. The parks around the city are perfect for relaxation or for a nice picnic. The university also has something called a "Friday bar" which is a social gathering for students. At the gathering you can play games, meet fellow students and enjoy a drink.
The University of Copenhagen has an international research and study environment and is one of the best universities in Europe. They give you as a student an opportunity to develop your talents, and through using research-based teaching they equip you to address society's challenges and needs.
