Buddy Week Program
Important information
As a new student, you are automatically assigned to a buddy group. You do not need to sign up. Activities are not mandatory, but we encourage everyone to participate!

Monday 10th of August
Contact person for the day: Kseniia (+47 469 38 452)
- 09:00–11:00: Registration and Orientation. Start the day at P52 Studenthallen by checking in and meeting your buddy group for the week. A complimentary breakfast will be served, followed by information sessions from various student associations and organizations (For a detailed overview, please refer to the orientation meeting schedule).
- 16:00–18:00: Speed Friending at P52 Studenthallen
- 18:00–20:30: Amazing Race. The day's final activity takes place at P52 Studenthallen, where you would have to work in teams, complete tasks, solve puzzles, and compete against other buddy groups for the prize!

Tuesday 11th of August

- 13:00–16:00: Activity Day. Enjoy an afternoon at Frognerparken with your buddy group, taking part in fun activities, social events, and team challenges. It's a great chance to get to know new people and explore one of Oslo’s most famous parks.
- 18:00: Musikkbingo with SiO. Join SiO at Tigertorget for an entertaining round of music bingo!
- 20:30: Concert. Stay at Tigertorget for an evening concert featuring live music and great energy. (Please note that beer sales at Tigertorget will stop at 21:30!) *

Campus Closes
The event concludes as the campus closes at 22:00. Please make sure to collect your belongings and depart the area before closing time!

Wednesday 12th of August

- 13:00–17:00: Museum Day. Spend the afternoon exploring some of Oslo’s most popular museums. Visit the MUNCH Museum, the National Museum, or the Natural History Museum—either with your buddy group or on your own. Feel free to choose the museums that interest you most and explore at your own pace. (More information regarding tickets, registration, and available time slots will be shared closer to the event!) *
- 18:00–20:30: DJ in the Tent. Join your buddy group in the campus tent for a live DJ!
- 20:30: Concert with Donkeyboy. (Please note that beer sales at Tigertorget will stop at 21:30!) *
- 22:00: Campus Closes. The event concludes as the campus closes at 22:00. Please make sure to collect your belongings and depart the area before closing time!

Thursday 13th of August

- 11:00–15:00: Student Association Day. Explore the many student associations at Pilestredet 52 during Student Association Day. Your buddies will take you there whenever your study program allows. It's the perfect opportunity to discover student life, meet new people, and find a club or association that interests you!
- 19:00: Movie Screening with the Film Club. Join the Film Club for a cozy movie screening in Lille Auditorium, P32.
- 20:00: Karaoke Night. Take the stage or cheer on your friends at Samfunnet Bislet's karaoke night!

Friday 14th of August

- 12:00–15:00: Grilling and Chill. Join your buddy group at Sognsvann for a relaxed afternoon of grilling, swimming, and socializing. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, spend time with fellow students, and get to know your group better in a laid-back outdoor setting!
- 17:00–18:00: DJ at Tigertorget. Stop by Tigertorget for a live DJ to get the vibes going before the rave.
- 20:00: Rave at Samfunnet Bislet. Join the rave at Samfunnet Bislet for an evening of dancing, music, and high energy!

Saturday 15th of August

- 15:00–20:00: Creative Workshops. Unwind and get creative at P52 Studenthallen with a selection of hands-on workshops, including Paint & Sip, a Jewelry Bar, and a Bead Bar. There will also be an opportunity to customize fabric items with textile paint, so feel free to bring a piece from your wardrobe!
- After 20:00*: Night Out*. Continue the evening at Chateau Neuf for a social night out with your fellow students. Enjoy the lively atmosphere, connect with new friends, and celebrate the week together. (More information regarding the evening's program and practical details will be provided closer to the event!) *

Early Departure*
Island Trip to Langøyene: Join your buddy group for a trip to Langøyene, one of the beautiful islands in the Oslofjord. We will meet at the ferry terminal at Aker Brygge and travel together to the island. Bring swimsuits, sunscreen, and anything you may need for a relaxing day outdoors. The trip offers a great opportunity to spend time with your group, enjoy nature, and experience a unique side of Oslo.
