This is how I learned to use Makerspace

Would you like to learn some techniques at the OsloMet Makerspace? Some small topics can give you good insight and understanding.

Master's student in social studies, Lars Sokrates Anvil, passed Makerspace almost every day.

He saw a lot of fun tools through the window and one day he found out that they had some small subjects that he could take to learn something new.

Activities for yourself and others

This is something I can use in social studies, too, thought Lars, who specializes in child welfare pedagogy.

– I couldn't stay away, it was too exciting, he says.

– I was able to take the two micro-subjects rapid prototype design and introduction to programming.

– What I have learned, I can use both on my own, or together with others in social work.

Micromen are short and skill-based topics that give you a basic understanding of some of the techniques and equipment commonly used at the Makerspace.
