Students who are going on Erasmus+ exchange are encouraged to travel in an environmentally friendly way, and you can also get additional Erasmus+ grant!

  • What is green travel?

    Green travel is defined by travelling in an environmentally friendly way by either train, bus, car sharing, electric car, or bicycle. 

  • How much is the grant?

    If you choose to travel in an environmentally friendly way by train, bus, car sharing, electric car, or bicycle, you can receive an additional travel grant of 50 euros. The majority of the journey must be made in an environmentally friendly manner. It is also possible to receive an additional grant for up to 4 days for the return trip. 

  • What do I need to do?

    Before your stay 

    Fill out the online Declaration on Honnour (in Norwegian).

    During your stay 

    Take a picture of means of travel/transport by taking a picture of tickets or yourself by bike or by car. 

    After your stay 

    Provide documentation of your means of transport by taking a picture of tickets or yourself by bike or by car. Provide document of the duration of the trip (return trip) in order to have additional grant assessed for up to 4 days in connection with travel.
