Planning and carrying out an event at KK-senteret

The Course and Conference Center (KK-senteret) is OsloMet's own conference center. The rooms are located on the 3rd floor in Pilestredet 46, and are managed and booked by KK-senteret.

OsloMet's commissioned activities, disputations, and major internal events with external partners have top priority in the conference center. Bookings are made in this order:

  • Large events - e.g., research dissemination events, strategically important events

  • Commissioned activities

  • Internal courses

  • Meetings with external partners

If you are planning a major event, please contact us via BiE (bie.tjenester.oslomet.no). The form is only available in Norwegian. Choose “Arrangementer” to submit your requests and needs.

    • Reservation of suitable venue

    • Planning and coordination in advance of the event, in cooperation with the organizer

    • Coordination of AV and IT support

    • Staffed reception to provide practical and technical assistance during the event

The organizer is responsible for carrying out their own event - use the digital checklist (Norwegian only)

Additionally, you can contact KK-senteret via email for other inquiries such as individual room bookings for meetings, etc, if there are no rooms available in Outlook that meet your needs.

  • What to arrange yourself

  • Major events/conferences

Events that require venues larger than those available at KK-senteret must be scheduled after week 17 in the spring semester and after week 46 in the autumn semester. See guidelines for scheduling.
