Innledning

Eksamen gjennomføres som en skriftlig prosjektoppgave i gruppe (2-4 personer). Studentene jobber med oppgaven gjennom hele semesteret, omfang 5000 ord +/- 10 %.

*Det er anledning til å gjennomføre eksamen individuelt. Begrunnet søknad sendes emneansvarlig ved studiestart.

Ny/utsatt eksamen

  • ved første ny og utsatt eksamen kan omarbeidet versjon av prosjektoppgaven leveres. Ved senere forsøk må det utarbeides ny prosjektoppgave
  • studentens rettigheter og plikter ved ny/utsatt eksamen framgår av forskrift om studier og eksamen ved OsloMet - storbyuniversitetet. Studenter er selv ansvarlige for å melde seg opp til eventuell ny/utsatt eksamen

The language of all teaching and supervision is English, and the students should therefore have a working knowledge of both spoken and written English.

The course have the following contents:

  • Special education
  • Inclusion
  • Children and young people with special needs
  • Aesthetics
  • Ethics
  • Physical and psychological health
  • Play, development, identity and relations
  • Genres, multimodal texts and digital platforms
  • Verbal language, aesthetic perceptions and expressions
  • Music, drama, puppet play, storytelling and other performances and aesthetic acts
  • Aesthetic communication

Arbeids- og undervisningsformer

Eksamen vurderes til bestått/ ikke bestått.

Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter

Det benyttes to interne sensorer. Det er knyttet tilsynssensor til utdanningen. Tilsynssensor evaluerer vurderingsordningene i emnet og studiet som helhet.

Vurdering og eksamen

Emnet består av følgende temaer:

  • teoretisk, samt forsknings- og erfaringsbasert kunnskap knyttet til utvikling, forebygging og avhjelping av psykososiale vansker
  • observasjon og kartlegging
  • etiske utfordringer og dilemmaer i spesialpedagogisk arbeid

Vurderingsuttrykk

Grading scale, A-F

Part 1 will be evaluated pass/fail

Part 2 will be evaluated according to the ECTS-grading scale, with A-E as pass grades and F as a fail grade. The criteria for the different grades will be presented to the students at the beginning of the course.

The completion of the two parts will result in one final overall grade A- F

Sensorordning

Part 1 will be reviewed and graded by internal examiner.

The second assessment will be reviewed and graded by internal and external examiners

Opptakskrav

Target group

The course is designed for students who want to learn more about children and young people with special needs in programmes of professional study programs and fields such as Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Educational and International Studies, and Technology, Art and Design.

Admission

For students at the faculties of Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Educational and International Studies, and Technology, Art and Design:

Students must have completed at least one year of their undergraduate degree studies in order to be accepted.

For international exchange students:

  • Admission as an international exchange student at Faculty of Education and International Studies. Students from other academic areas may also be accepted. Students must have completed at least one year of their undergraduate degree studies at their home institution in order to be accepted.
